PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

We're looking for a great addition to our team.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Liaison between producer and artist to ensure all production needs are met and the contract is being adhered to.
  • Work closely with the producer to make sure everything is in working order and that all the show and broadcast needs are being addressed and met.
  • Responsible for solving any production issues that may arise at any given point in the show and broadcast timeline.
  • Develop and foster relationships with artist, tour crew, artist management, producer and other important personnel to ensure streamlined communication and successful execution of each show and broadcast.
  • Set a workable budget for the show and make sure all the expenses are being tracked and are within the limits of spending.
  • Oversee the load in and load out of the show from artists, vendors and all that apply. In addition to managing production crew by interfacing and making production arrangements with local labor vendors, creating production crew schedules, diffusing employee relation situations and conflict resolution, review, approve and submit payroll for production staff.
  • May be responsible for show settlement after the show has concluded. Makes sure that vendors and venue are paid accordingly. The Production Manager will also close out the show and submit all pertinent information to accounting.
  • May also be responsible for hiring local labor, rentals and other show needs.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A minimum education level of: Bachelor of Arts/Science Degree (4-year) in a related field.
  • 3-5 years of related work experience.
  • Working knowledge of technical aspects of concert / broadcast production.
  • Ability to solve logistical and technical problems including staging, lighting, sound.
  • Ability to create and maintain budgets for events.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); and ability to learn required business systems, including mac based software solutions.
  • Previous management experience with an emphasis on resolution management.
  • Works well under pressure and in a fast paced environment.
  • Experience interpreting event contracts and developing accurate production budgets.
  • Must be extremely flexible to work long hours, nights, weekends, holidays.
  • Experience working in music industry preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish Desirable.
Salary dependent upon experience.

EDITING ASSISTANT

We are looking for an experienced video editor to assemble footage into a finished product matching clients needs and requests. You will join the Creative Director and Producer to meet all deliverables on contracted video projects. The position requires a candidate who is willing to work outside of normal business hours to meet tight deadlines. The ideal candidate has experience working on all parts of video production including, but not limited to, camera operation, lighting, sound, and post production.
The position is a part time position with the opportunity to become full time.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the project.
  • Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects.
  • Create rough and final cuts.
  • Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running video.
  • Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry‚Äôs best practices to maximize efficiency.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2+ years of experience in Film/Video/Media or Related Field.
  • Video Reel/Portfolio showing video work and design skills.
  • Extensive experience with video and audio editing platforms (utilizing Adobe Creative Cloud Suite).
  • Strong knowledge of videography and camera operations, including set-up, lighting, green screen.
  • Video editing, visual effects, compositing and motion graphics.
  • Typography, composition, solid design chops.
  • Comprehensive understanding of A/V formats and editing file structures.
  • Creative mind and storytelling skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Committed to quality in every assignment, large or small.
  • Travel will be required.

  • Assist production team with documenting meeting minutes and assignments.
  • Assist production team with scheduling internal meetings.
  • Organize production binders with latest vendor documents, contact sheets, schedules and drawings.
  • Work closely with the production teams & producer to make sure everything is in working order and that all the show needs are being addressed and met.
  • Develop and foster relationships with production vendors and labor crews to ensure streamlined communication and successful execution of shows.
  • Assist production teams with budgets and expense tracking.
  • Assist with load in and load out of productions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A minimum education level of: Bachelor of Arts/Science Degree (4-year) in a related field.
  • 1-2 years of related work experience.
  • Organizational and professional communication skills required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); and ability to learn required business systems, including mac based software solutions.
  • Video editing, visual effects, compositing and motion graphics.
  • Works well under pressure and in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be extremely flexible to work long hours, nights, weekends, holidays.
